Managed Services - Peace of Mind IT Plan (POM)
Zydeco Technolgies delivers fixed-fee Technology-as-a-Service to small and medium sized businesses. We call this our Peace of Mind IT plan (POM). When your Small Business has computer and network problems, you have downtime and productivity loss, your customer service suffers, you can lose critical data and your profits go down. How It Works
1) Evaluation
We first evaluate and document your network, hardware and software. We map your network, perform a detailed inventory of your hardware; perform a detailed inventory of your software including license keys and installation media; assess the security, reliability and scalability of your architecture; and then we provide you with a report that includes these details as well as recommendations based on improved reliability, cost savings and your plans for the future.
2) Revamp
Based on the evaluation, we implement any of the recommendations that you authorize. We do an on-site tune-up of every computer on your network including virus and spyware scans, registry repairs, operating system updates and removal of unneeded programs and processes. We install a corporate version antivirus if you do not already have one. We upgrade or replace any equipment or software that may be outdated or unlicensed.
3) Roll-Out
We then perform a roll-out of the chosen POM plan that usually includes the monitoring and management of the network using our remote managed services software, end user help desk support and onsite services by our technology team.
4) Provide Services
Our client partnering begins with training the client and its employees how to best utilize our services. This training includes how to initiate a trouble ticket, request a new service or request new employee set up. The service continues with periodic on-site visits where we meet with the client to deliver reports on resolved issues for the period: when, how, by whom and how it was resolved. We also will have periodic meetings with the client to plan Information Technology strategy or budget to fit with any planned changes in the business.
