One Year Limited Warranty

Zydeco Technologies warrants all computer systems purchased from Zydeco Technologies as free from defects in material and workmanship for normal use by the original purchaser for one year.

The warranty period commences on the date of purchase. You must provide your original sales receipt showing the date of purchase to support any claim under the warranty.

This limited warranty extends solely to you, the original purchaser, and is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases or otherwise obtains the product from you. Zydeco Technologies will handle return and /or service.

Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Zydeco Technologies will, at Zydeco Technologies discretion, either repair or replace any part of this product that proves defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials, during the warranty period.

This limited warranty does not extend to monitors, printers, scanners, cameras, keyboards, mice, or any other peripheral device. The original manufacturer's warrany will apply to those devices.

This limited warranty does not extend to any part, component, software, add-on, upgrade, or peripheral device that is not part of the original purchase of a Zydeco Technologies computer system, whether purchased from Zydeco Technologies or from any other source.

This limited warranty does not extend to any product purchased from anyone other than Zydeco Technologies.

This limited warranty additionally does not extend to any product damaged or rendered defective:

1)  as a result of use of the product for any purpose other than its normal intended use, or other product misuse, abuse, or negligence;

2)  by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Zydeco Technologies;

3)  by modification of the product;

4)  as a result of service by anyone other than Zydeco Technologies or a Zydeco Technologies authorized service provider;

5)  by improper transportation or packing when returning the product to Zydeco Technologies or a Zydeco Technologies authorized service provider;

6)  by improper installation of third-party products;

7)  by improper exposure to an environment (including excessive temperature or humidity); or

8)  by unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or fluctuation of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, or other acts of God.

Zydeco Technologies is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media. You are responsible for backing up any programs or data on removable storage media.

EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN, ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF BUSINESS, PROFITS, DATA OR USE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT OR BASED ON A WARRANTY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND, AS APPLICABLE, UNDER THE WARRANTY SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WITH RESPECT TO ANY BREACH OF THE ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN. IF, DESPITE THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS, FOR ANY REASON ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES BECOMES LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES INCURRED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, THEN, THE LIABILITY OF ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE INVOICE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ZYDECO TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE PRODUCT.

Some states or provinces/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products, and some states or provinces/jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. In such states or provinces/jurisdictions, the exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to you.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state/jurisdiction to jurisdiction. You are advised to consult applicable state and local laws for a full determination of your rights.
